Product Description

SA Filament ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is a strong, durable thermoplastic filament used in 3D printing. It is similar to ABS filament but offers much better resistance to sunlight, weather, and outdoor conditions. ASA is commonly chosen for parts that need to remain strong and maintain their appearance when exposed to UV light, rain, and temperature changes.
Key Characteristics
• Excellent UV resistance – does not easily yellow or degrade in sunlight.
• Weather resistant – suitable for long-term outdoor use.
• High impact strength – tough and durable under stress.
• Good heat resistance – performs well at higher temperatures than PLA.
• Chemical and moisture resistance – withstands many chemicals and environmental conditions.
Common Applications
• Automotive exterior parts
• Outdoor electronic enclosures
• Garden and landscaping equipment
• Drone components
• Signage and outdoor displays
• Functional engineering prototypes
